We are very pleased to announce that Anisa Yan, Gr. 12 student, has won first place in the Association of Management, Administrative and Professional Crown Employees of Ontario.
Hearty congratulations are due to this intelligent, focused, hard-working, gifted young lady and to the outstanding mentorship of Ms. Amy Adams, her Gr. 11 English teacher.
The annual contest for high school students across the province is intended to "promote and reward exemplary student research and scholarship to encourage students to think in a critical and creative way about the role and value of public service in Ontario." Anisa's essay, "The Public Service: Preserving the Present, Building the Future" can be read on AMAPCEO's website. Her exemplary research and writing has garnered her a $750 prize.
