As the month of May comes to a close, with it comes the culmination of year-long efforts of clubs, councils and teams, as well as the starting of rites-of-passage for graduating students. This past week we honoured graduating students with a day of inspiration off-site where students reflected on their journey through OCSB schools, a massive Spring Carnival organized by Student Council which brought hundreds of students together after school to connect to the school as well as a very successful Relay for Life campaign and event - all organized and run by students. Over 200 students worked all year to raise funds for Cancer research and spent a majority of Friday walking in honour of research, Cancer survivors and those who bravely fought during a battle with Cancer.
This week culminates with the Prom event for members of the 2026 graduating class. This special event is fully staffed by teacher volunteers who understand the importance of giving students this opportunity to connect to each other in a safe, inclusive environment.
