9-12 - June Schedule

Grade 9 Students

Please note that Gr 9 courses do not have final exams but must complete RSTs during the exam period. Grade 9 students will finish regular instruction on Wednesday, June 17th, and will continue completing authentic assessments such as RSTs on June 18th, 19th, 22nd and 23rd. Start time is 8:30 am until 10:30 am, daily. Students are expected to return home after their RST.
Grade 9 students who have English semester 2 will be writing a practice Literacy test during their English class to prepare them for the OSSLT in grade 10.

Hold on to Your Student ID Card

Keep your current Student ID Card as it will still be valid and used at the start of the next school year. Holding on to your ID helps ensure a smooth return in September!

Cafeteria Services is Closed

Effective, June 17 - there are no cafeteria services available for students at Sacred Heart. The cafeteria will re-open at the start of the school in September.

If you intend on playing this coming school year, sign up with Madame Nelson in her ⅞ Phys. Ed office before exams start.

OCSB Summer School - Registration Open

When: July 2 – July 23rd, 2026

Who Can Attend: Any student from any school board can join us. You do not need to be an OCSB student to participate.

Registration Deadline: June 19, 2026 at 3:00 pm

Registration Deadline for SHSM Co-op Program: April 24, 2026 at 3:00 p.m.

OSTA Transportation Updates & Deadlines for 2026-2027

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, please review the following critical information and upcoming deadlines from the Ottawa Student Transportation Authority (OSTA).

Joint Custody (Variable)

Renewals: June 30, 2026
Variable transportation can be provided for students in joint custody arrangements, provided that both home addresses meet OSTA’s standard eligibility requirements.

Sun. June 21 - National Indigenous Peoples' Day
